At the site of Jiangxi Ganfeng Lithium Co., Ltd.'s 10,000-ton-per-annum lithium salt production project, the hot air system currently comprises a total of six units across three phases.
Hot Air Circulation System:
The hot air system consists of a Hot Blast Stove, a combustion unit, an air preheater, an air blower, gas piping, ignition gas piping, combustion air ducts, air supply ducts, return air ducts, flue gas ducts, valves, expansion joints, and other equipment and structural components, as well as electrical and control systems.
Working Principle:
Within the combustion furnace, fuel gas undergoes combustion with a precisely regulated supply of preheated air provided by the air blower. After combustion is complete, the hot gas mixes—within a volute-shaped mixing chamber located at the rear of the furnace—with return air delivered by a high-temperature blower. Driven by the combined forces of positive pressure in the high-temperature air duct and negative pressure at the furnace outlet, the resulting hot air enters the carbonization furnace through its designated inlet. Inside the furnace, the hot air transfers heat indirectly to the process material via the furnace walls; it then exits through the return air ducts and enters the suction inlet of the high-temperature blower to be recirculated. A flue gas duct is positioned between the outlet of the high-temperature blower and the mixing chamber of the Hot Blast Stove to vent exhaust gases from the system; after passing through the air preheater to recover a portion of the waste heat, these gases are discharged through the chimney.
