A Hot Blast Stove is a thermal energy conversion device that utilizes the combustion of various fuels (such as blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, converter gas, mixed gas, producer gas, calcium carbide furnace gas, natural gas, LPG, diesel, heavy oil, pulverized coal, and waste materials) within a furnace chamber to release chemical energy, thereby heating low-temperature air to a specific, elevated temperature. Hot Blast Stoves can also utilize other forms of thermal energy (such as electrical energy or waste heat) to heat the air.
